The 2010 Census

The 2010 Census is just around the corner! This constitutionally required count of every man, woman and child across the country is very important as it helps to determine congressional representation as well as how more than billion dollars in federal funding each year is spent for needed local infrastructure and services.

Forms will be delivered or mailed to households in March. They should be completed and mailed back upon receipt. Census workers will visit households that do not return forms to take a count in person.

The U.S. Census Bureau confirms that information shared with it is completely confidential. And, those seeking employment during this difficult economic time should consider applying for jobs with the Census Bureau.
