Major Nidal Malik Hasan

As officials continue to investigate the alleged Fort Hood killer, Major Nidal Malik Hasan, it now seems the military may have missed several red flags because the Major was a Muslim.

There are indications the Army chose to ignore his growing radicalized rhetoric and actions. One officer, who attended the Pentagon’s medical school with Hasan, recalls that “He was very vocal about being a Muslim first and holding [Islamic] Sharia law above the Constitution.” Later, in a 2007 presentation about Islam at Walter Reed Medical Center, he declared to his colleagues: “We love death more than you love life.”

Islam’s forceful and expansionary ideals are well known. They have conquered natives and nations with the sword and many sons. Mosques have multiplied from Finland to France to Fort Lauderdale. Some mosques are moderate, but many teach a radicalized belief and behavior.

Islam today is often an intimidating force, as their demographics dominate wherever they go. Sharia Law is being practiced as a parallel legal system in many parts of the world, as governments first tolerate and then appease of “all things Islamic.”
