The Jews of Gaza

The Jews of the southern Gaza recently endured a mortar barrage of 19 shells fired at a sleeping settlement during one 90 minute span in the middle of the night. Miraculously, no one was injured in this latest, unprovoked, Arab attack.

The Gaza “strip” was designated to be part of the “homeland for the Jews” by the United Nations in 1948 and was finally captured by Israel from illegal Egyptian occupation following the week-long war of 1967. It remains “disputed territory,” with both Arabs and Jews living there.

For the past four years, the Palestinian Arabs have fired over 4,400 mortar shells and rockets at Jewish men, women and children seeking to peacefully live on their promised homeland in the Gaza Strip. These atrocious attempts to maim or murder innocent civilians must be seen as terrible acts of terror and condemned by a civilized, watching world.

Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous deeds among all peoples.” Psalm 96:2,3 NIV

“May mercy and peace and love be multiplied to you.” Jude 2 NASB
