Peace in the Middle-East?
There has been a wide variety of opinions expressed following the recent meeting between US President Obama and Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu. While progress toward peace in the Middle East is hopeful, there are very real obstacles on both sides. The Arab world points to Israeli settlements on the occupied West Bank, Palestinian infighting, Iran, Syria and Israel's own apparent reluctance to publicly endorse a Palestinian state.

Israelis can not forget the brutal campaign of suicide attacks by Islamic extremists against Israeli civilian targets that has claimed the lives of over 1000 Israelis and wounded thousands more, since the year 2000.
Israeli counter-terrorist-measures, such as the Security Fence, have reduced the carnage, but the incentive for similar acts of violence is still there.
We must continue to “pray for the peace of Jerusalem” and all who live in the region.
